Wedding Guest Love 💗

The chances are your family & friends will have travelled from far and wide to celebrate with you on your wedding day ✨ this is why it’s so important that you leave enough time to mingle and of course party with them on your big day!

I adore capturing the all of the emotion and joy between friends and family reuniting on wedding days as this is really where magic unfolds ✨

Wedding day timelines can suddenly build up with all the formalities however I really recommend blocking off at least an hour to enjoy relaxing with your nearest and dearest. You’ll be able to say hello to everyone and it will also help you from feeling overwhelmed by how fast the day is going because you’ll actually get a chance to pause and take it all in ☺️

Here are some of my top tips to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your wedding day and ensure you are leaving time for real moments to unfold:

- Bring your ceremony time forward 🕰️

- After your confetti has been thrown walk back down the line and greet all of your family and friends. (Lots of hugs & kisses!)

- Reduce your number of formal family portrait requests to allow more time for natural moments to happen between you and your loved ones.

- Split your couple session in half. 20 minutes after your ceremony and another small session during golden hour. (This way you get 2 different looks and you’re not away from your guests for too long).

- Try to relax and enjoy yourself as much as possible, it’s your wedding day and it goes so fast! If you’re having a great time the chances are your guests will be too!

These childhood sweethearts met at school and have been together since they were 12 years old ❤️

Kay & Richard celebrated their marriage ceremony at The lovely Old Thorns Hotel last Spring. Their beautifully intimate ceremony was made even more special with personalised vows in front of their nearest & dearest family & friends overlooking the stunning grounds.

They enjoying some delicious canapés & drinks outside in the sunshine before heading off to their relaxed reception venue @henandchickeninn in style in a classic vintage car and vintage bus for their guests.

I loved working with these two, as you can see they couldn’t stop beaming from ear to ear all day, it was a real joy to be able to capture their special day unfold ✨

I had the pleasure of capturing Victoria & Adams intimate ceremony at Artington House last October ✨ they celebrated their intimate ceremony with their nearest family members and enjoyed a delicious meal together afterwards in the picturesque Town of Godalming. Otto their gorgeous sausage dog made the cutest best man! And just look at Victorias golden goddess shoes!!! 😍✨☺️🤍

If you’re getting married this year or next and you’ve got little ones then please bring them along to your pre wedding session as I would love to get to know them prior to your wedding day. This is really beneficial as your children will be able to meet me before your wedding which ultimately will help them feel much more relaxed in my presence resulting in beautiful smiles.
