Jasmine & Jack’s stunning Spring wedding at Cain Manor in Hampshire on 21st May 2022
Sitting on top of a hill at the end of a very impressive long & winding driveway, it’s clear to see why Jasmine & Jack chose Cain Manor in Hampshire to host their wedding. This 16th century exclusive Barn-style wedding venue, set in the secluded Hampshire countryside, offers so many idyllic spots for your wedding photographs. The team at Cain Manor strive to ensure you receive the best possible service from your very first enquiry all the way up to the big day itself and help bring your vision to life.
Jasmine & Jack initially got in touch with me in November 2020 during the lockdown. We had a lovely chat over Zoom where they told me all about their love story so far. Jasmine & Jack met at school after being introduced through a mutual friend and had been together for 10 years before they got engaged. Jack popped the question whilst they were enjoying a romantic weekend away in Dartmoor together. Hearing their wedding plans, seeing the excitement on their faces and experiencing their gorgeous connection made me feel even more excited to be a part of this amazing couple’s wedding day.
Pre Wedding Photoshoot – Hampshire
‘The Temple of the Winds’ hike was such a great location for Jasmine & Jack’s pre wedding session as it offers some amazing views over the countryside. Jasmine had mentioned during our initial chat that they loved walking together at the weekends and therefore wanted to try and find a location that had a forestry, autumnal feel. During the session we had a great time getting to know each other further. I changed up the poses and prompts regularly to ensure they had a fun and enjoyable photography experience feeling comfortable and relaxed ahead of their wedding at Cain Manor in the Spring.
Morning preparations at Cain Manor
Cain Manor’s stunning bridal suite allows you to prepare for your wedding in a calm, peaceful, and luxurious environment. Complete with a four poster bed, freestanding bathtub and lovely big windows which allow lots of natural light to flood into the room. Upon arrival, Jasmine and her bridesmaids were greeted with a bottle of fizz on ice to kick things off whilst they enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done by CLJ London. As you can see from the images Jasmine and her girls all looked absolutely stunning!
Jack and his groomsmen got ready just across from the main manor house in one of the additional luxury bedrooms that Cain Manor offers. Jack was a little nervous during the morning however his friends were amazing at helping him keep calm by having lots of laughs together.
The Ceremony – The Music Room at Cain Manor
The ceremony was held in the Music Room at Cain Manor. This stunning room boasts large cathedral-style windows that fill the room with natural light and overlook the beautiful gardens. Jasmine & Jack exchanged vows in front of these beautiful windows which provided a picture perfect backdrop throughout the duration of their ceremony.
The large double doors at the back of the Music Room open out into the courtyard ready for your guests to line up and shower you with confetti. Reception drinks and canapés can then be enjoyed by your guests whilst you have your family portraits taken nearby.
Romantic Portraits – Cain Manor Wedding Photos
At Cain Manor you are spoilt for choice when it comes to backdrop options for your couple photos. The pristine landscaped grounds offer so much variety as well as a little privacy away from your guests.
The Wedding Breakfast
The Music room at Cain Manor gets completely transformed for the wedding breakfast. As you can see Jasmine & Jack chose some lovely table decorations & details to make it unique. The exceptional food at Cain Manor is served by their fantastic on site catering team. Their menus and kitchens are designed with banqueting in mind in the knowledge that each dish needs to be served in large numbers, at top quality.
The Speeches
Jack and Jasmine’s Dad delivered some amazing, heartfelt speeches. The speeches are always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph because I love capturing all of the raw emotion and feels in the room, from happy tears to laughter. These are the special moments that tell the story of your day.
Sunset Photos at Cain Manor
During the evening reception Jasmine & Jack were able to enjoy 15 minutes alone together in the meadow for their golden hour photos. The meadow is set away from the Main Manor House and courtyard which makes it a great location for couple photos as it offers you a little privacy away from your guests. The long grass here offers an amazing backdrop at this time of day as it looks super dreamy & golden.
