Here’s a little bit about me and my photography style 📸

My passion is capturing beautiful love stories in a natural way as they unfold.

I photograph with a relaxed and unobtrusive approach which allows you to be yourselves on your wedding day.

My aim is to document your day with minimal intervention to capture those tiny moments throughout your day that create real, true, emotive memories that you can treasure for years to come.

I photograph with a blend of documentary and traditional wedding photography which means that you'll receive a lovely balance of natural moments from your special day as well as those important family photos and some stunning fine art couple portraits. ✨

Rain on your wedding day?! ☔️ It’s what all

Rain on your wedding day?! ☔️ It’s what all couples dread, however with a little bit of organisation and creativity, photos taken in the rain can be magical.

Waking up to yet another rainy day has inspired me to share my top tips for how to embrace rain on your wedding day:

1. Prepare for wet weather
Does your venue have a backup plan if it rains to prevent any surprises on the day?

2. Bring Clear Umbrellas
If bad weather is forecast a few days before then order a bunch of clear umbrellas for you and your wedding guests. Clear umbrellas let through plenty of natural light. I always carry a handful but it’s great to make sure everyone stays dry.

3. Embrace it!
If it rains your outfits will more than likely get wet and muddy. As you’re only wearing this for one day, enjoy yourself and do it justice! You can get the dry cleaners to work their magic later ✨

4. Bring spare shoes 👢
Bring a pair of wellies so that we still have the option to get some amazing couple photos for you. Many countryside venues have beautiful fields and by bringing a pair of wellies you don’t limit the variety of photos you can have taken. Once your dress is over them you won’t see them in the photos anyway.

5. Night Photography 🌟
With the use of creative flash photography I can light up the raindrops behind you which looks spectacular. During your wedding reception don’t be afraid to step outside and dance in the rain!

As British weather can often be unpredictable you may need to be flexible with your schedule. The weather is the one element of your wedding day that you have no control over, so have fun and stay positive. 😀

This was my last 2022 wedding. It was windy and rainy for the entire day however as you can see Gemma & Harry didn’t let that stop them have the best day ever 🤍
